NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - An alternative therapy, called Reiki, in which practitioners attempt to manipulate a field of energy surrounding the patient’s body, is no more effective than a placebo version of the therapy in treating the neurological pain (neuropathy) that often develops in patients with diabetes, a new study shows.
